Doesn't open some cherry style switches, unless you practice. When you press on them, the lips open up, but the bottom doesn't gets separated, so then you remove the pressure and the switch remains half way from being opened. The trick is to push right on the stem, being quite precise with it. The Kailh box switches open OK, not not very smoothly as well. Overall, it's an OK opener, which can be used for years to come, but it is not perfect.

Got the silver. Tested and works well on a number of Cherry and Kailh switches like MX Speed Silver and Kailh Box Jades. The magnets are great for quick storage and you can leave it like that, or the magnets line the halves up to be pushed together properly, which is actually pretty hard to open again! Well machined, good weight

Keep in mind that it does not open Outemu Purple switches out of the box. I had to file some of the edges a tiny bit in order for it to function for Outemu because the switches were too wide.

Item as described. Very nice quality. It takes a bit of practice to use easily. Tip: For Kailh switches, rub the switch a bit sideways until the opener sticks a bit under both clips. Then it will open on both sides when you press on it.
